What is it?

The Level 2 Food Safety training is aimed at anyone preparing or serving food. The overall aim is to develop a level of understanding of the basic principles of food hygiene. It is a legal requirement for anybody who regularly handles food - whether during production, preparation or at the point of sale.

Qualsafe approved

We are approved by Qualsafe Awards an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer this accredited qualification.

How it's delivered

Six hours minimum with learning through a mixture of group discussions, in-class participation and quizzes. Followed by a 30 question multiple choice assessment.
Attendees will receive a 'Food Safety Made Easy' book which contains accurate information with lots of pictures and diagrams. Upon passing the assessment attendees will receive their accredited and nationally recognised certificate.

We host open Level 2 Food Safety at The Vine Community Centre, Hyson Green, Nottingham, NG7 5GZ. Free car parking, good public transport routes and free light refreshments are offered. The price is a very competitive £65.00 per candidate. The training day provides the opportunity to ask questions throughout, not to mention receiving expert tuition.

In House delivery

We will also travel to your venue during the week or at weekends and deliver the Level 2 Food Safety. It can take place in one full day or over two half days. Group booking requires a minimum of 10 candidates. Please Contact Us to discuss your requirements and group booking discount.
