The benefits of our Level 2 Food Safety can be seen as boosting confidence and knowledge among individuals. From an employment perspective the food safety training can open doors to jobs. The qualification also holds community value, for example, a food safety certificate means that a church, organisation, etc can now cook, prepare and serve food to the community.
The Level 2 Food Safety training is aimed at anyone preparing or serving food. The overall aim is to understand the basic principles of food hygiene. It is a legal requirement for anybody who regularly handles food – whether during production, preparation or at the point of sale.
Six hours minimum with learning through a mixture of group discussions, in-class participation and quizzes. Followed by a 30 question multiple choice assessment.
Attendees will receive a ‘Food Safety Made Easy’ book which contains accurate information with lots of pictures and diagrams. Upon passing the assessment attendees will receive their accredited and nationally recognised certificate.
We are approved by Qualsafe Awards an awarding organisation recognised by Ofqual to offer this accredited qualification.
We will also travel to your venue during the week or at weekends and deliver the Level 2 Food Safety. It can take place in one full day or over two half days.
