Oaty Fruit Rumbler

The Recipe

Ingredients:

Scottish Rolled Oats

Fruit juice (orange or apple)

Your favourite dried, fresh, tinned of frozen fruits (sultanas, apples, mangoes, bananas or raspberries)

Nuts, seeds of your choice (walnuts & sunflower are my choices)

Low fat natural yoghurt or vegan replacement

Notes:

Modern life can mean that we don’t have much time in the mornings to have a ‘proper breakfast’. This can lead to skipping it all together which could be making you feel grumpy, struggle to concentrate and have low energy. Try this quick and easy nutritious breakfast. Ideal for both adults and children on the go.

Method:

  1. Place oats into a glass & add fruit juice to moisten oats. Leave for 5-10 minutes.
  2. Cut up & layer the fruit on top of oats.
  3. Add your seeds or nuts or both 
  4. Layer the yoghurt on top of the fruit. 
  5. Enjoy
